“I had severe pain in my left foot. I went to an orthopedic surgeon and he wanted to do surgery and said posterior tibialis tendon needed to be reattached. I couldn’t hike as the pain was so bad and I was used to hiking 14ers and doing the Incline once a week. I had gone for physical therapy but got no relief. Dr. Mathews started adjustments and within a few months I was able to start hiking again. I never needed surgery and after 1 year of adjustments, was back to doing the Incline and 14ers! So glad I avoided the surgery and found Dr. Mathews instead!”
“As a professional triathlete in my 18th season, I find that age is just a number as long as you take care of yourself. My success at this level would be limited without Dr. Mathew’s work on both my muscular aches and pains and realigning my 45-year-old body. He keeps my body finely tuned so that it can do what it’s capable of and can continue to do so long after my career is completed. I recommend his expertise for anyone that wants to be free of pain so that they can enjoy life to the fullest.”
“I started seeing Dr. Mathews about a month ago for my sciatic pain and numbness in my leg and foot. I see him twice a week, and every time, he does something a little different to treat the problem and relieve symptoms. For the first time in years, I’m able to go a couple days without having to stop mid step due to my leg seizing up in painful spasms. Before I started seeing him, my leg was seizing up multiple times an hour. It’s already improved my quality of life in a major way. He teaches me stretches to do at home, too. They hurt a little when I do them but help so much right away. (Do your stretches, kids!) I’m not what you’d call an optimistic person, so it’s a big deal when I say I’m hopeful that one day I’ll be pain free.
In a nutshell, he’s amazing. Go see him.”
“Jeff Mathews is not only intelligent, he is also very compassionate. He takes on the most challenging cases, both man and man’s best friends. And, most importantly, he has a wonderful sense of humor and smile.”
“I feel better than I have in 3 years. I’m 75 years old and I have never been to a chiropractor, even though I’ve had neck and sciatic pain on and off for many years. The end of last year, bad back pain and neck pain causing intense headaches started about the same time. My sciatic pain went away quickly with chiropractic adjustments. My neck pain, caused by poor posture, decreased height, and just years of living, was more stubborn. BUT, by the third adjustment, the pain began to decrease a little. Now, the neck pain is gone, I’m standing straighter and breathing deeper.
The receptionists, Gynger and Caitlin, are personable and efficient. You’ll always be greeted with a smile and encouraging words.
Dr. Jeff is kind and gentle. He listens carefully when I explain my symptoms and answers my questions with as much detail as I want. He suggests specific exercises based on my symptoms. I continue to see Dr. Jeff to get my posture even better. I find that when I’m standing straight, I can use my energy for doing the things I enjoy. I expect my dogs to have trouble keeping up with me when we start walking again. Also, by getting my vertebrae in alignment, I’ll have much less chance of the pain returning.”
